Dragon Gate Restaurant

We did not enjoy the meal. We ordered lemon chicken, vegetable lo mein and beef and broccoli. The lemon chicken sauce was watery not flavourful, the Soo guy chicken was very greasy fishy tasting and the meat was a weird texture. The vegetable lo mein appeared to be Ramen noodles not very appetizing.The beef and broccoli had mushy broccoli and fishy tasting beef. Overall an unappealing meal. It tasted horrible,we will not be ordering there again.The staff member that took the order was pleasant.

Been going here for 12 years for food, 3-4 times a year. Called had 05/08/16 for pick up at 5pm. Get there at 5:15 told order not ready. Asked and told be 10 mins, 15 mins later girl comes and ask me to verify my order on the touch screen. Thought that was strange, 5 more minutes they tell me order given to someone else. Be 15 mins to make mine. Almost an hour later, still not ready, when it was they wanted me to still pay. I said no, walked out and will not be back.

So disappointed

We have ordered from Dragon Gate for over a decade. I have been disappointed in the service over the past year or two but tonight I have decided to never order from there again. After ordering, I was assured that my dinner would be delivered in under 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I phoned and was told that the delivery guy should have been here long ago and they couldn't find him. When he did finally arrive, my food was cold and he told me that I was over reacting and it wasn't his fault. He also told me that the time the order went out was only an hour earlier. So, I sent it back and called Dragon Gate where a lovely woman told me she was sorry and they would make it better next time and that it was not her problem because she hasn't taken my order. At what point does someone say they dropped the ball and they are going to make it right!

I order take out which took over an hour and a half. When I received it, it was luke warm and they got the order wrong. When I called back the manager said all he can do is give me $5.00 off my next order. Out come was for me to return the wrong food and they will deliver the proper food in 45mins to an hour. I find this service rude, considering I had to call them 3 times wondering where my food was and was put on hold for no less then 8 mins. This service was the worst service ever!!!

Excellent Food For The Past 25 Years

I have been going to this establishment for at least 25years always a great meal. It would be so much better if they trained there staff properly and have a makeover in cleanliness and decor which is much needed. It is good that they scraped the tape off the window where they put the help wanted sign. The cooks in the kitchen should also lower there voices ...we came here to eat not listen to you yell.

Tasty food at Dragon Gate

Our favourite Chinese food comes from Dragon Gate. We have had take-out but usually eat in... and it is almost every Sunday. Our favourite is # 9 which consists of Guy Ding, chicken balls and fried rice.... a plate of delicious food. My preference is the green tea Jasmine of course. The food is not expensive and very tasty. Service is excellent..

We had it delivered. The food was hot and all packed neatly. No mess on the packages and nothing looked crushed. The proportions are large and satisfying. The delivery person was friendly and so was the person on the phone. The whole family loved the food and we will definately order from there again. Thank you for such a great experience and awesome food.

I have been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years and I have never once had a bad expierence. The food is great and the Dragon Gate is always the place for our family gatherings.

I have been going to Dragon Gate for years. Their honey garlic won tons, spicy chicken and spring rolls are the best! Be sure to use their homemade orange sauce for the spring rolls.

I love Dragon Gate! It's the best Chinese food I've ate in my life. My family and I have been eating their food since before I was even born. I love getting the Thai Dop Voy and the Cantonese Noodles. It is delicious and you know it's good because you have to wait a long time so you know the food is fresh!! :D

Excellent! Best Chinese food in London. The Vegetable Lo Mein (noodles) is to die for. We also enjoy the egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken balls, won ton soup and fried rice. A big help would be an on-line menu so we could choose some different dishes when ordering in. Thanks.
