It's the same store, Favorite restaurant going down the tubs... but my last visit to the EastSide Mario's on Fanshawe was great. The food may have been the best I've had at any EastSide locate. They were consistant with the kid meals and brought the kids three small ice cream cones and gave us a large bowl of salid... no many have been only serving 1 small cone and individual size bowls of salid. Job well done to this location...
I used to come here almost once a week but in the last few years it's gone downhill. The service is slow almost to the point of being ignored. Your lucky to see your waiter/waitress within fifteen minutes of arriving. The last three times I came it took over twenty minutes for my food to arrive and it was cold. On the last occasion I just sent it back and left. Enough is enough!
I've been here a couple times with my whole family (6 people) and just with me and the girlfriend. Getting seated sometimes can be a bit of a wait, even though there are usually plenty of open tables. The majority of the time that I've been here the service has been more than lacking. The waitress never comes around to even ask how you are doing, let alone come get you refills, etc.
The food on the other hand is usually pretty good, nothing amazing but it's good. The unlimited salad/soup and bredsticks are amazing! love the ceasar and the italian wedding is really good too! Everytime I go I usually get the same thing, Pepper Penne Pasta, and it's usually pretty good. Although I'm usually too full on salad and bread to eat the whole thing, lol.
Anyways, all in all East Side Mario's is an average place for an average price. The food is never bad but watch out for the service! it can be bad at times...
I love their foof i could eat it anytime and I will always be full when I leave.n Also I like how you do not even have to wait to eat because they bring you unlimited ceaser salad and bread right away.

There was no dressing on the salad they brought us. We had a toddler with us and they did bring her food quickly as we asked. Our food came and these was barely any sauce on the capeletti nor was there more than 10 pcs total. They certainly have reduced their porition sizes. I can't imagine what a lunch size would look like.
If you are looking for a quick lunch this the place, Good food and great service, they have me in and out in 15 minutes with a full stomach. Also you get unlimited salad or soup, can't beat that.

While the New Yorker Pizza is a favorite of ours, they have some great new appetizers - crostini with sun-dried tomatoes and kalamata olives as well as barbecued shrimp skewers. Strawberry bellinis are great refreshing drinks. The service could be better but what can you expect when it is always filled to capacity whenever we've been there. The staff is still very friendly even though they are rushed off their feet.
terrible service but what can you expect. i don't like any of their entrees ever but the salad and bread are good, and unlimited so i usually just fill up on that and take the entree home for my boyfriend.
The food is too over priced for the tasteless meal you receive, its just fast food on a plate...no quality.......... the best part is the bread and salad or soup if it comes warm or hot. I would only order a pizza next time we would visit to be safe. Also the discription of the food leaves a lot to be desired when it comes.
East Sides, is east sides. Love the salad and bread. The main courses are good, nothing spectacular. Must say, we had the most awful service at this location. We had to request specifics (i.e. refills) at least 3 times before it was brought to our table. The service alone has made me not want to return.
