    An Oasis of the Old World

    I'm german/hungarian and I loved this place! Such good schnitzel, great spaezle, dumplings, red cabbage, saurkraut, and even a wonderful apricot crepe for dessert! The servers are very welcoming, and the decor is a charming old-style of germanic pub. Very romantic! Do not miss this place!

    Not very german

    I am German and this was NOT a german Meal! To start with - This restaurant needs major renovations. It smelled like stale beer and it was very dark. We ordered the typical german Schnitzel....well....I am not sure what it was but it was awful! I think I will stick to my own cooking!

    BEST FOOD IN TOWN

    I am in love with the steak tartar best one I have ever had. Also, everything on the menu I have tried and all is excellent!

    worst meal ever.

    The food was cold and unappealing. It tasted as if it had been sitting around for days. When we told the server, his response was that the couldn't tell the chief for fear he would get Mad. Save your money. DON"T go.

    Not great by any stretch...

    Our group of eleven consensus was that the meal was disappointing. Salad was limp, chicken breast dry, parisienne potatoes good , pork scnitzel was tasty and moist, veggies fresh and well prepared, lemon cake so-so/dry. Service lacking. Sorry, but we will not be back at this price point.
