Ordered 1/2 chicken dinner, and start my waiting time. I understand 10 minutes but not 25. Between 20-25 minutes 3 big orders were done and I’m still waiting for my 1/2 chicken dinner. Spoke with cashier and basically I was informed that pre orders are their priority. Lost over 25 minutes and no dinner at least not from this place. That was my last time I went there.
I have noticed since the restaurant has expanded that the service and portion size has declined. Tonight my order was the worst ever that I called to discuss with the manager. My chicken was smaller than prior orders and cold. The salad had no dressing on it. I asked for hot sauce on the side and did not receive it. The manager did nothing to encourage me to come back. I was told that they hired new people! My children would eat it all up and tonite hardy ate anything. We will not eat here again

1-Called ahead for take out and still waited for everyone that was a walk in to be served first.
2-order was being put together wrong. I tried twice to clarify and this was not taken with kindness. Mostly attitude.
Very unfortunate. This attitude is disrespectful and has no place in the service industry.
You want super delicious, moist, and tender chicken? Then look no further! They cook their chicken on an open flame grill, and you have the option of a mild, or hot sauce. The hot sauce is rather flavourful, and not really 'hot' at all.
They also sell different types of fish that's not listed on the menu. The sides range from fries-potatoes-rice-veggies-garden salad.
The price is very good compared to other places. I can buy a whole chicken for just $12. Better than Nando's in every way
My sister and I visited the restaurant July 20 around 6pm. I understand it was a very busy time. The poor man ahead of me ordered 3 chickens. He was told "don't do that again, call ahead if you want 3 chickens." Very bluntly.
When it was my turn I placed my order and my sister asked if she could have a grilled vegetable sandwich. She is a vegetarian. She was told no. She said why is it on the menu then? They told her she could have the steamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots i think) on a bun.
The food is wonderful and the prices are great as well. We usually pick up a family combo at least once a month if not more often. The kids love the chicken and the sides that come with it. We fresh food. You also get lots of it.
I would highly recommend this place.
great food, very lazy and unmotivated staff.
When we walked in, we saw that the place wasn't busy. yet the staff deliberately ignored us and it took us 20 minutes just place our order. after placing the order, we were told that it would take 40 minutes. we agreed and said we would return.
after returning in 40 minutes we were shocked to find out that no one even started to make our food. in response we were told that "they thought we weren't coming back". It seems as if they told us a ridiculous wait time just so that we wouldn't even order.
a tedious wait, and sub par service, but they make up for it with great food.

I've been to several Portuguese BBQ restaurants and I have to say this one, by far, is the best of them. I love that they cook the chicken on an open charcoal fired pit and because of that the chicken is moist and never dry. The potatoes, rice, salad and even the fish is outstanding!!! Trust me, you go once and you'll be hooked! I only wish they'd open one in my hometown of Hamilton.

I have also had my parties catered by them and have not been

The best fries in Mississauga, chickens good too moist and tasty. Salads used to be good but they have gone to cheaper lettuce. Owners are freindly and helpfull. Other staff doesn't seem interested in customers. The biggest problem is the slow service regardless if its the owners or hired staff.But the food keeps me coming back and back and back...
Excellent tasty fare...Was dying for something "different" to the hum-drum take-out in Oakville and this one was it! Chicken is bar-b-qued on a real charcoal grill and is spicy, moist and succulent. Love the hot sauce and the potatoes were fabulous! Definitely worth the long line ups...a common complaint I notice that unfairly causes the low overall rating on this site to be misleading.

It was the Saturday Dinner rush, what a wait. I guess they're doing something right if they get that many customers all at once. Even though the wait can be tiresome, it's well worth it and I'm willing to do it anytime. My kids, my husband and I love their food. I'm surprised that most of the time they can keep up with the demand of walk-in customers and pick-up orders, even if they're behind on chicken, it's understandable.
The girls that work there are very friendly, and do their job well. They work to please.
I'm very happy with everything about Brasas.
Good food but the long wait was tiresome. Have come there on a few occasions and each time it took forever to get the food! Better to order by phone first. f Sometimes the staff are more interested in their own conversations than the customers.

I called ahead and did not have to wait at all, however very often I drop in without and calling and don't mind the wait at all. It's because they don't start cooking the chicken until it has been ordered, thus resulting in the juiciest, most flavorful chicken I have eaten. The seasoned fries are a hit with the kids and the salad is always very fresh....LOVE IT
Absolutely the best chicken and fries in Mississauga!
However the wait is too long and the staff has too much attitude.
Many times they say they are out of chicken, come back in an hour and a half!!!
Not worth the wait. But it is so good you just
have to give them another try. over and over and over again.
Owners & staff are very cooperative about substitutions for those that want to eat "HEALTHY" ...too bad, because the food is great!
Never seem prepared for the "rush" of traffic. Be prepared to wait - or better yet, call ahead.
Staff always seems to be in a bad mood, often making the customers feel like they are 'bothering' the staff. This includes the owners/manager.
