Unfair Reviews
I have visited the restaurant last week and after reading the unfair and disgruntled review I believe it's only fair for the restaurant to recieve a review that was more on the unbias side. My family and I decided to try this restaurant out, also drawn by the grand opening special. We did not have the luxury of a reservation because they told us they did not take reservations due to the amount of people they were getting. We had drove by once before and saw the line so it was perfectly understandable. We waited for 47 minutes (yes I kept track) and was seated near the back where the lobster tanks were. We ordered both style of everything on the grand opening menu and a green dragon and golden dragon rolle with the Jade of Tokyo. Most food came "fashionably late" around 45+ minutes before most dishes were here. We did end up missing some dishes and the managers promptly fixed the problem and the missing steak and lamb came right away. I agree that there are "better" sushi places in Mississauga, hence the 20% off sale. The Waygu steak also needed a 2 hour notice beforehand before you can order so thats no biggie. All in all, during the grand opening sale the food was good and service was adequate. The biggest problem is they are BUSY AS HELL!! If you can handle and understand their situation, this place isn't bad. The biggest reason I put maybe for visit again is because I really don't know, I live 20 minute drive away and work full time.

This place is awful!
My family and I were drawn to this place because of the 20% grand opening discount. We arrived early and made reservations so we didn't have to wait. Others weren't so lucky because we noticed a few parties having to wait at least 1 hour to get a seat. Not worth it. I'll start with the good first. The ingredients they use are very high quality.... for now at least. It's decently priced, and the place is well-designed. The bad? Well, despite the great ingredients, they managed to make all the cooked food taste bland. Not only that, but rolls were all very loosely made so they crumbled as we ate them. I get the impression the chefs are very inexperienced. The ugly? Our meal took about 2 hours because the manager somehow managed to forget our lobster order despite asking us how we wanted it served to us. We asked a waiter about our missing lobster an hour into the meal. He said he would check and disappeared. About 15 minutes later, we found him again and asked him about our lobster again. He seemed to have acquired amnesia because he didn't even acknowledge that we asked him about it just 15 minutes earlier. He hurried off again and came back to ask us: "Were you missing your spicy seafood soup?" No. We were not missing our soup! We were looking for our lobster! Does nobody in this place listen? Finally he got the point and our lobster came in 20 minutes later. We received no apologies or politeness. It seems to be an exercise in futility to expect any sort of customer service from this place. In short, there are many other better sushi places in Mississauga.
