"One of our regular customers buys flowers for all sorts of occasions, but never for his wife because she prefers jewellery and such," says Sarah Barat who runs Floris with her mother Judy. “Still, he came in and asked what he should get her for her birthday. I told him, ‘don’t get flowers! Your wife doesn’t like them.’"
