The Most Friendly staff on earth, big portions of food, price is great!!! Just like the sign says Hakka #1 . Me and family & friends eat here all the time. :)
Best in Hakka's style Chinese food, Quality superb, service adequate and overall great. I am regular customer since they open and simply love their food.
The service in this establishment is the worst i have ever experienced. I will begin with my delivery order experience...I calle dto place an order and the person who answered the phone did not speak english after many attempts at communicating with the order taking i was transfered to an english speaking individual. My order was placed at 4:00 PM and was told it will arrive in a reasonable time. An hour and a half later I called back to ask about the ETA of my order and once again was greeted by a non english speeking person, after going through the same mumbo jumbo as my first call i was again transfered to someone who spoke the language. I was then told taht there was no delivery person on duty and that they were waiting for him to start his shift. After getting quite irate and asking to cancel my order I was told that I could not and taht they woudl get it out soon. 20 min later a dirver showed up at my door with the food and LIED to me by saying that everyone was told deliveries will be at least 1.5 hours. I refused the delivery and the driver said i cant. So I closed the door.
When I order take out food, the people said the food would take 15 mintures. When I got their to pick up my food. The people said it will get an half hour to make because the chief was on lunch. A t least the lady on the phone could have told me to come in a half hour.
The Service was horrible! The waiter was running around distracted. We gave him specific instruction to place an ICE CREAM cake into the FREEZER but when we received the cake at the end it was a puddle of goo. When we complained to the manager he brushed us off. These are workers and owners who do not care for their customers.
Bad service and Bad food, I will never return!!
In the ever increasing field of Hakka Chinese restaurants, this place is the best so far.
Over several visits and take orders I've tried many of the items on the menu. Favourites include the Manchurian House Special Fried Rice and the House Special Hakka Noodles but the Cantonese Chow Mein, the Dry Chilli Chicken Wings, the Deep Fried Tiger Prawns and the Singapore Noodles are also great. Chilliheads will be pleasantly surprised because the chefs understand the need/cravings we have for heat.
The decor is comfortable and the place is clean. Combined with the food, this place is great! Highly recommended by The Foodtrof.
If you do take out, you will be pleasantly surprised even more, the portions are huge! The containers are filled almost to overflowing.
