One of the best sushi restaurants in Toronto

I often go here for lunch since I work nearby. The Japanese chef is very friendly and welcoming. I've had an incredibly pleasant experience every time just being in this quiet and calm restaurant (although every once in a while it's absolutely full with a lunch crowd!) I like the sushi, salmon nigiri in particular, and their uni is very very good. They don't carry toro at all, by choice. Squid, scallop, hamachi, all great. Rolls are very lovely presented. Everyone I've ever taken with me to this place has enjoyed it, whether they were sushi-addicted like me or just into it once in a while. I'm definetly going back.

Richmond Hill

It's hard to find a little two member family run restaurant these day, guess it's hard to compete with the big chains. But Inaho has everything you can want. A small quaint restaurant. With a great sushi chef, and one of the best waitresses I've seen. Although it's not meant to be fast food. It is great food. I've never seen a waitress handle so many people without stressing out. Very friendly. I've been going for five years now. Don't think I'll ever stop, unless I move jobs. Fresh ingredients make quality food. Try it out, good menu - not too big, not too small.

I love everything about this restaurant from the...

I love everything about this restaurant from the "smallness" to the staff and especially the food. Superfresh and very tasty. Presentation is wonderful. Service can be slow when they are busy, but it's part of the charm so don't go for lunch when you're in a hurry. Terrific value for money compared to some other Japanese restaurants.

excellent family run restaurant with real Japanese chef. friendly service. sushi are larger with less rice than other places. everything is very fresh and made to order - they dont make up california rolls in advance like other places.

we have been long time customers there. this restaurant is geared towards people who aren't in a hurry and want to enjoy good food. the sashimi is very fresh and most ingredients are imported from japan. try the udon, you can really taste the difference cause it's soft and chewy and that's how udon should be. do try the spider roll if you get the chance, the tempura flakes inside are crispy. the ice cream is homemade there and it's really good. the green tea ice cream and bits of matcha powder/green tea leaves? in there. i'm not sure, but it's very flavourful, as are the other flavours (sesame, ginger)
