Nah - still not good

Were driving by and noticed the fresh coat of paint and took a detour here instead of our destination which was WEgz, sadly Lone Star is still the old lone star. The food is really not tasty or spicy and just is. The waitresses are shapeless and dressed in boring blue and black pants. I mean where is the fun in that? if I want to eat I can throw something in the oven. Show me some fun. The prices are fair. For $20 they give you food and drink and the fries aren't too bad.

SAVANNAH - you are the best waitress I've ever...

SAVANNAH - you are the best waitress I've ever had. Funny, fast, courteous, friendly. If I owned a restaurant I would have paid you twice what you are making now and stole you! If I was single I would have married you! Aside from the solid service. Food was great and the Patio was fantastic.

Excellent atmoshpere and friendly staff. Shared the fajitas which was very fun and tasty too. Great place to go for a date, especially for the fun factor. They have a very nice beer here too that you cant get in most other places - Armadillo Red, excellent!

I was there for dinner because of working during...

I was there for dinner because of working during weekend. It was barely busy there and the staff acted like they were so rushed as if they wanted to get me out as soon as possible. The food was fast, mediocre, again slapped on the plate and luke warm. The waitress handed me my bill about a minute after I got my food. If you want a quick meal to get in and out this is your place. If you want to sit and enjoy yourself forget it.

This place is a total hit and miss as far as good...

This place is a total hit and miss as far as good service and food. We have had excellent service once. Poor service most of the time. The food for the most part is good, but we have received raw steak for fajitas, and cold food sometimes. It's disappointing to pay the money you do to eat here and leave NOT happy. Our last visit was the worst for service and food. We will not eat at this Lonestar again. We were seated and had our order taken in good time. Had to wait a little longer then usual for our meal which was no big deal. When it arrived the steak was raw and the food was not hot. Sent it back and waited an usually long time for the food to come back. The food was great when we got it. We found the portions were alot smaller then usual. But the biggest thing that had us miffed was our waitress disappeared and never did comeback. She left a dessert menu and we never saw her again. After 15 minutes at least we had another server ask us if we needed anything...the bill is all we said. From then on he helped us with no explanation of where our waitress went. No tip was left and we will not eat here again.

We were very disappointed with our meal here this time. This place is very hit and miss as far as it goes with service. We have had some of the best service here ever. Other times it is the worst. Last night not so good. Our food came and the steak was still quite raw. Sent it back when it came back it was cooked this time. Overall the meal was not too bad...but our portions were quite small compared to other visits ordering the exact same meal. The sides were just warm and seemed not fresh. Our waitress was good to begin with our meal. But slowly over the meal we saw less and less of her. She did bring the dessert menu to us then we never saw her again for at least fifteen minutes. By that time we had already asked another waiter to bring our bill. We have ate here at least half a dozen times and at least four of the times we have been disappointed. Our second last visit was excellent and we could not have asked for a better waiter ever. It's very disappointing when you pay the money you do here and your not impressed with any of it. It will be the last time we eat at this location.
