Excellent burgers! We make a point of visiting...

Excellent burgers! We make a point of visiting Fortis when we're hungry for burgers. Huge and piled high with all the right toppings with great fries to boot. Excellent sandwiches as well!

usually the foods ok here ( i love turkey...

usually the foods ok here ( i love turkey sandwich) but tonight i complained that my mashed potatoes smelt like motor oil and my coleslaw had such strong vinegar in it , that I couldn't eat half my meal. I asked for a discount and was told, "no one complained today, I make same potato for 30 years with garlic and spices." I demanded that she "smell" it herself but said she would do so after I had left. I know the owners for over 30 years, the food used to be better years ago...

I think this is an excellent place for quick, well prepared meals. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely go again.

I have been to this restaurant time & time again...

I have been to this restaurant time & time again on my way to the bingo nearby. The food is reasonably priced, service is quick, and the atmosphere is pleasant, sometimes the clientele is unpleasant to deal with, but that is not the fault of the restaurant. There is a diner-like area in the front of the restaurant, but a more 'private' area in the back, that allows for quieter dining. There is ample parking in the area, and you can walk in off the main street.
