Yesterday I was at the clinic, it was a 3 hour wait. The doctor there was very thorough, but caring for people is not always black and white. Both my son and I have been sick (me since early December and my son recently). There was no way we were going to get a script for an antibiotic for either of us.
Most doctors give the script so u have it, from experience they know infections don’t just clear up. Back into the system we go. Waste of time and our healthcare money - very disappointed!
I went to the clinic last week with my family. Myself and my children were all sick. We were in the office within half hour and on our way home within an hour of arriving at the clinic. Dr. Almdhem was very busy but still professional and doing his best to get people in and out as quickly as possible. The receptionist/nurse was lovely as well.
I totally understand the other peoples frustration about some of the employees. However, when I went, the female receptionist was nothing but nice. The doctor (not the same as the other comments) was incredibly helpful. Before him, I had been to 3 other clinics, and the hospital for an ear infection. He realized it could not be treated with low dose antibiotics and gave me one that ACTUALLY helped. I almost had a ruptured eardrum, but he helped me get better.
The receptionist AKA the welcome committee is by far the most missetable woman in the city. While I waiting I overheard her make several very rude interactions with patients. These are sick or people in pain and I think the way she spoke to them was disgusting, after coming to the clinic for the first time via a referral and told how goos they were. Doctors, maybe, receptionist, absolutely not. Show some sensitivity or go work for the city or a law office. Man oh man.
