Thunder Bay's best kept dining secret is Mama...

Thunder Bay's best kept dining secret is Mama Alfa's restaurant in the fine Westfort Village. Patrons are welcomed by Mama Alfa in a warm and loving way. Children are also more than welcome. Appetizers are delightful, the ceaser salad takes second place to none, and of course pastas are homemade. If you are really hungry, Mama will fix up a 29inch pizza that barely fits out through the kitchen door.

Mama Alfa's is my favourite restaurant! Whenever...

Mama Alfa's is my favourite restaurant! Whenever I visit T. Bay I make it my "first" stop and often my second and third stop as well!!!The pasta is always excellent regardless of the dish (spagetti, ravioli etc.) and the pizza is the BEST in North America with all fresh ingredients. Mama Alfa's customer service is extraordinary - Ralph and Alfa make everyone's visit memorable. The atmosphere is very calming with Italian music playing in the background and on occasion "live music". When in Thunder Bay, Mama Alfa's is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!!

Want the best ceasar salad in the city made with Mama's homemade secret dressing? Well you just need to visit Mama Alfa's Pizzeria a darling little restaurant offering the privacy of your own booth with the friendliness of all families welcome. You will find the gorgeous Mama Alfa running the show between cooking up a storm in the kitchen to waiting on your table all while holding and hugging all the babies that bless her arms! Call ahead to make a resevervation and preorder if you want to try some homemade pasta or go early if ordering dine in pizza to make sure you get a table! Very reasonable prices, give yourself lots of time as homemade food takes time and be prepared to bring your friends back!

Mama Alfa's is our destination restaurant...

Mama Alfa's is our destination restaurant whenever we visit Thunder Bay. We wish it was closer and that Ralph could deliver to our home in Georgia! Alfa has even packaged up her special pizza for me to carry back home on the airplane - funny thing is that even in Toronto the airline people recognize the pizza box and make offers to buy my pizza. Thank you Alfa and Ralph - for always making us feel so welcome.

A SLICE OF HEAVEN What a delightful evening...

A SLICE OF HEAVEN What a delightful evening our table of seventeen had at MAMA ALFA'S on Saturday, June 4th.2005. We feasted on the most wonderful of meals(six mouth-watering courses of Italian food prepared by Mama Alfa's magical hands) and were entertained by a group of very talented actors who 'wove' us into their thriller of a play, 'THE TRUTH BEHIND CLOSED DOORS'! We enjoyed the close interaction with the actors and had great fun guessing "who done it?"(by the way, it was a real shocker to find out who the murderer was!). Mama Alfa even had prizes for the winners! In this world of conflict and stress, a night out at Mama Alfa's is a "slice of heaven" and worth a month at the therapist's! We are looking forward to Mama Alfa's next murder mystery evening(TRIAL BY JUDGE AND JURY) at the end of September! What could be better than an evening of exciting entertainment and the most fantastic food ever!!! 'BRAVO' Mama Alfa and thank you!
