GREAT Buffalo Chicken Burger

I have lived in Welland for over 30 years and have never eaten here until they mentioned "Buffalo Chicken Burger" on their advertising sign out front. So we decided to stop in and try it, I must say, it is a great burger and possibly the best in the entire Niagara Region, it is reasonably priced with perfect golden fries but no one else makes a Buffalo Chicken Burger like Cheers does. The staff in Cheers were great and we will be going back.

I came in with my nine year old sister after going for a walk -starving and looking for a quick and tastey meal. Our waitress Kim was excellent! She was so good with my young sister and so ver efficient! The service was fast, fun but relaxing. We enjoyed every minute and THE BEST FISH ON THE PLANET!

Cheers is my absolute favorite place to visit for fish and chips it is the very best in town! Great service! Our waitress Laurel was friendly and attentive! I will definitely be back!!

First impression walking in the front door was...

First impression walking in the front door was not favourable - Bar-like setting and a little dingy. However restaurant at the back is bright, clean, with enough seating to feel comfortable yet not too crowded in. We discovered afterwards a separate back entrance strictly for the restaurant. Restaurant parking lot very small, but there is adequate additional parking on the street. Quick service by our waitress Carol... a real sweetheart - warm, friendly and very helpful explaining the menu. Food hot and fresh - served quickly. Both the halibut (recommended) and the haddock dinners were delicious - hot, fresh (not frozen) french fries, large portion and very good - garden salad tasty and also a good sized portion. Bread which came with the meal we were told is made on site, also very good. Overall very good value for a reasonable price. Our first visit to this restaurant, but not our last. We would recommend it to our friends.

The fish and chips are some of the best in...

The fish and chips are some of the best in Welland. Very large portions with french fries and cole slaw. Cheers is worth the visit for any ocassion and I would like to return just to enjoy the bar, great atmosphere. Our waitress Carol was fantastic and a lot of fun as well.
