Godspeed Brewery opened a little over a month ago and the people of Toronto have taken notice. Instead of going the German route, Godspeed decided to let Japan inspire them. Served izakaya-style, Godspeed offers sharing plates and Japanese influenced dishes that pair nicely with the expertly crafted beer.

Rorschach Brewing Co.

A casual spot in the East End, Rorschach Brewing is known for its crisp beers and massive space. The 100-seat patio saw Torontonian flock to the new spot during the summer months, but the delicious food and craft beer kept them coming back. The menu is a mix of cultures including Polish, German, Jamaican and Japanese.

Eastbound Brewing Co. brews its beer on site, and offers a great selection on tap that includes other local breweries, too. The brewpub menu includes small plates, sandwiches and steak. Newly opened, Northern Maverick is a massive brewpub located in the King West neighbourhood. All of the beers are brewed on site at the multi-level brewery and ‘mega-restaurant.” The food menu is paired perfectly with beer selections, and that includes the oyster bar!

Now open in the Financial District, King Taps is a two-storey brewpub that has the 9 to 5 crowd excited! Offering more than 50 beers on tap, King Taps focuses on local craft brews from Bellwoods, Collective Arts, Rainhard and more. There is a collaboration menu where local breweries come together to create the ultimate beer. The food menu includes items like pizza, tacos and small plates.
