Father’s Day brunch takes place in the hotel’s Empire Ballroom from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m., with multiple seating times available. In addition to crêpe, omelette and carving stations, there will be a buffet with a wide array of dishes. Whether you dig pastries and classic breakfast items, like French toast, or prefer lunch dishes, like seafood, you’ll find plenty to eat here. Sparkling wine and orange juice are included in the price of brunch ($69 for adults, $59 for seniors, $34.50 for children ages six to 12 and free for children five and under).

The menu features seasonal items made with locally sourced ingredients, plus plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. There are tons of crepes on the brunch menu, including a vegan buckwheat crepe with roasted vegetables, a chocolate and hazelnut crepe that will make you swoon and a hearty spinach and feta crepe. They also serve bangers and mash, sweet Belgian waffles and a traditional breakfast with fried free-range eggs, cranberry maple sausage or bacon, herb-roasted potatoes and toast.

This diner is known for its amazing brunch menu, which has plenty of vegetarian and celiac-friendly options. Relax in the casual atmosphere and enjoy everything from their eggs Beneduckt (with house-made duck confit) and a southwest breakfast burrito to blueberry and lemon curd pancakes or a breakfast enchilada. They have several smaller versions of their breakfast items for kids, making it the perfect spot for a family-friendly Father’s Day brunch.

This French restaurant is hosting a Father’s Day brunch from 10:30 a.m. till 2 p.m. The brunch menu allows you to choose an appetizer, entrée and dessert for a fixed price. Appetizer options include fruit salad and croissants, Caesar salad and Mediterranean salad. For entrees, choose from eggs Benedict, waffles with ham and eggs, beef sausage wrap, crepe cordon bleu, crepe a la reine, steak and egg chasseur, and omelettes. Dessert is a fruit waffle with whipped cream cheese, strawberries and a choice of raspberry or chocolate sauce.

You can choose whatever your heart desires from the a la carte menu for brunch. There’s no shortage of options, including banana bread with pecan maple butter, crêpes, omelettes, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon or braised beef short ribs, French toast, steak and eggs, and Mexican-inspired Huevos. Sunday brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the house fills up fast.

Sugar Bowl doesn’t take reservations for their famous weekend brunches, so arrive early to snag a table for you and Dad. Once you’re seating, you can pick your favourite items from this a la carte brunch. It features everything from French toast and cinnamon buns to the special SugarBowl Bennys, which consist of grilled corn bread and poached eggs covered in back bacon and béchamel sauce, with a side of potatoes. The chicken and waffles dish is also a fan favourite. Don’t forget to ask for a mimosa or two!

Fort Edmonton Park is hosting a special Father’s Day weekend, filled with tons of fun events, including a brunch at Johnson’s Café inside the historic Hotel Selkirk.
