Their cakes come in six-, nine- and twelve-inch sizes plus full-slab options for a larger fete. Flavours include vanilla, chocolate, lemon, French toast, and more. They also have cheesecake, which comes in a six-inch size. Hot tip: special orders require 48-hour notice.

This Harbord Village bakery offers freshly baked gluten- and dairy-free, vegan and paleo options. Order a vegan chocolate and vanilla drizzle cake decorated with cherries on top, or the standard-but-delicious vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting. Almond Butterfly also offers six-inch double-layer celebration cakes from Wednesday to Saturday that sell for $38 and come in a variety of different flavours. You can also order a single-layer cake with a three-day advance notice. Order for pick-up or delivery.

Not only is Tori’s Bakeshop a vegan bakery, but they’re also eco-friendly and their treats are all-natural, organic and free of refined sugar. Their cakes come in six-, eight-, and 10-inch sizes and are layered with buttercream. Get a basic vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, or something seasonally appropriate like a pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. The sweet boutique also offers the option of gluten-free and tiered wedding cakes, to boot! Oh, and they’ve got super delicious cupcakes, too.
