Vancouver has some of the best nightlife in the country thanks to its many celebrity sightings, talented DJs from around the world and a city full of beautiful people ready to party. Caprice Night Club

At Caprice, every night is a little different. The nightclub is best known for its many different theme nights. With two dance floors playing amazing music by some of Vancouver’s most renowned DJs, Caprice uses any excuse to party. The club is split into two floors. The downstairs has one of Granville Street’s largest dance floors and an elevated DJ booth that’s frequently occupied by Vancouver favourites. If you need a break from the dancing, you can head upstairs to the mezzanine, where you’ll be treated to lounge chairs, a much quieter bar and views of the dance floor below.

Fortune Sound Club

Stylish and boasting one of the best sound systems in the city, Fortune Sound has become famous for attracting great crowds and amazing acts. On any given night, you can be entertained by some of Vancouver’s hottest DJs, who spin a mixture of techno, funk and hip-hop that keeps everyone dancing until the lights come on. Plenty of live acts take the stage here as well, including legendary bands like Hot Chip. A combination of artsy and accessible, Fortune Sound has carved out its own space in the Vancouver nightlife scene.

Celebrities Nightclub

Arguably Vancouver’s biggest and best gay nightclub, Celebrities has earned a reputation for outrageous parties, stellar music and a jam-packed dance floor. The club hosts outrageous drag shows on a regular basis, but it’s the amazing DJs that really set this place apart. On any given weekend, Celebrities hosts some of the best electronic personalities from in the world, including Bonobo and Tigerlily, who have come to spin for the constantly bumping dance floor.

Opus Bar

If fancy drinks and an exclusive atmosphere is more your speed, Opus Bar is your best bet. Located in the Opus Hotel, this nightclub has amazing bartenders who whip up signature cocktails made from top-shelf spirits. Live music happens on Wednesdays, while visiting DJs spin from Thursday to Sunday. This swanky Yaletown hotspot is the place to go if you want to dress up and get away from the usual club crowds.

The Roxy

The Roxy is the granddaddy of the Granville Entertainment District. Around for decades, it shows no signs of slowing down, if the weekend line-ups are any indication. Three bars and live music nearly every night await those who make it inside. With everything from country to house on the sound system, there’s a little something for everyone. If you want to sit and relax, you’ll find comfy seats, quieter music and a pool table at the third bar. If you’re looking for fun on Granville, The Roxy is a guaranteed good time.
