For 10$ a person excluding taxes, you get authentic asian style soup (NOT cream of corn or vegetable soup), starter salad, main course, authentic asian dessert (none of that green tea ice cream stuff) AND a large bubble tea drink. The seats and tables are spacious and comfy, the place is ALWAYS clean, the decor is VERY nice, the place doesn't look sketch at all. nice decor, very tropical like~ my brother and I ordered small sized Pho /w our choice of 3 items in it, it came out fast and steaming hot~ Thai basil was really fresh, like they just picked them up from basil plant a minute ago, awesome~ we also ordered 3 skewers of beef Shish Kobab, mid-well interior was excellent and juicy~ we also ordered fried lemon grass chick wings, this is really bland, we had to add white peppers and hot sauce to make the wings eat-worthy, other than that, the wings are pretty juicy and moist~ finally, the reason why we won't come back to this restaurant is because there was a server cleaning the chop sticks on table at that night~ she dropped a chop stick on the floor (by accident), and she glanced at the fallen chop for a sec, and pick it up, and return it to the cleaned tray of chop sticks~ pretending nothing had ever happened~ that was so horrifing because we might be using the dirty chop sticks~ Yak~ triple Yak~ I mean, couldn't she just return the dirty chop stick in the "to be washed" bin and just get over it~ NEVER EVER return it to the tray of cleaned chop sticks~ this happened around 11:10 pm on June 1st, 2010~ Lire plus

Since travelling to Japan a few years ago, I have been on an obsessive hunt for the city's best ramen noodles. My fiance and I have tried a bunch of different restaurants within the GTA but so far, no luck. We heard about Kenzo's from a family member and suggested we give the place a shot. Why not, what's the harm in trying? First off, the parking for this place is very limited but don't let this deter you from visiting. Actually, one of the main reasons why I hadn't eaten here before is because of the terrible parking situation. Never again will I let parking be the deciding factor of where to eat. Good food is worth the effort! As we entered the restaurant it had a very good atmosphere. They have done a great job of making the place resemble that of a restaurant in Japan. I kind of felt like I was back on my vacation the moment we sat down at our table. The service was good but nothing special. The waitress simply brought us water, took our order and served the food. Typically, Japanese restaurants do a great job of greeting customers as they enter the front door but this place didn't. Either way, I'm not picky about service in general so don't let this stop you from eating here. Now for the most important part - the food. I wasn't expecting the world as I've already been disappointed by so many ramen places in the city. My fiance and I ordered the same thing which happened to be a basic bowl of ramen - just like they do it in Japan! The portion size was very generous and the price was extremely affordable - only $6.95. After tasting the first bite of ramen I was thoroughly surprised! They actually got the texture of a ramen noodle right! I'll be honest, it wasn't perfect, but pretty damn close. My fiance agreed that this place had great ramen and she's just as picky as I am. We concluded that we would put this in our top 3 ramen places within the GTA. Not too shabby! It's unfortunate that we still haven't been able to find a place that cooks ramen like they do in Japan. However, maybe it's not realistic to expect this of our city? Kenzo, give yourself a pat on the back. So far you have done the best job of satisfying our quest for the perfect ramen! Happy Eating! We had a family get together of 10 people dining at Crystal Rolls tonight. I highly recommend this thai-asian restaurant to people who are interested in asian food. Crystal Rolls has a big variety of food choices and almost each dish we ordered was delicious and authentic. We also enjoyed their romantic atmosphere and clean environment. Nice music and excellent service too. The best thing was that we didn't spend a lot of $ but we had a great time and great food. I found the food here to be quite good. Although it looks quite run down. The noodles were fresh (did not stick to each other). You can order the raw beef to be separated to a small dish for you to place by yourself, which I found nice of them to allow you to do. This is because it allows you to place some taste in to it (lemon and other sauces) and separate the beef before placing it in. I use to visit this place late at night.
