This restaurant is a hidden gem and a very welcome addition to the Markham dining scene! The chicken gyros are especially great -- juicy, yet moist at the same time. I liked it better than the souvlaki, but both are great. Salads are huge and easy to share. Staff are friendly and attentive. Based on other online reviews, the Pantheon is arguably the best Greek restaurant in Greek Town, Toronto. We made reservations ahead of time, had the much reviewed and loved Saganaki, which they light up at your table and the chicken souvlaki; the large and small portions. The chicken was ridiculously good, the potatoes were incredible and the rice was fantastic. With two greek beers and a red wine, our bill totaled $65. It was a good experience, we will return again. We've been to the Granite Brewery a number of times as the food is always fantastic with generous portions. In addition to the delicious food, they have a good selection of their own brews. We especially enjoyed their Ringwood, a delightful blonde. There are different atmospheres for different tastes, but at the Granite Brewery they have several to choose from. Two excellent patios, a bar, and a family restaurant area, all designed for comfort. The rear patio looks particularly amazing, but as it was raining, we'll just have to wait until next time to try it out. It should also be noted that the Granite Brewery has free parking with easy access. The Granite Brewery gets our highest recommendation and we will be back soon. Lire plus

Four us before a show at the Royal Alexandria - so definitely convenient - especially with the free parking in the metro centre available. Service was good and prompt. Food was tasty. However, portion size could have been bigger, especially for the price! I had chicken souvlaki with all greek salad on the side (asked for no potatoes, not rice, no carbs for me) and it was $19. One skewer of chicken with 5 pieces of meat on it. My husband had the pork souvlaki, $20, and had to pay another $5 for a tiny greek salad on the side. $14 for saganaki. Again, good, but would have been great if portions were a little bigger and or prices were a little cheaper. Lire plus
