With only 2 vegetarian items on the menu, and a wedding party in the middle of their meal when we arrived, the odds of a great experience were not high but what a great surprise - two 10 out of 10 mains - a sage, beet risotto and a chickpea/cauliflower curry with roasted vegetables. Food was amazing, had the blackened trout and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable and even more so considering the quality. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is suitable to be well dressed, however, we visited on return from a camping trip Tobermory and received not a single awkward look. Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did.
