I enjoy many dishes from this place and I go all the time. I can't tell you how amazed at how delicious the food is here. Wow!!! It's a take out restaurant but it's just the best. So, so, so filling. And the price, I can't believe the prices. Anyways if you just want to chill and you're in the neighborhood of Bay and King Street West hit up Famous Recipe. I came to this restaurant for my father's birthday and the food was incredible. It is an authetic portuguese restaurant on James street in Hamilton. For an appetizer we had the Bruchetta, which is baked pizza style bread topped with tomato, onion and garlic. Yumm! For the dish I ate the Filete com arroz, which is fish filete with seafood rice. The dish cost $17 but was really cheap considering the amount of food that was provided. I will definetely return to this restaurant and recommend anyone to try this place. They have a large menu with many options. If you havent tried portuguese food or just love the food, you wont be disappointed at the Wild Orchid. Lire plus

We loved it. We've stopped in several times. There's a nice selection and the food is fabulous. I love the Caesar Salad -- they even do takeout. A great selection of coffee and delightful desserts. Very impressed with our dining experience. Two weeks ago my husband and I stopped in for our first visit, for fish & chips. Very impressed with the large portions and flavour, so much so that we were back today with four family members. One had pancakes, one had bacon/sausage and scrambled eggs, the other four of us had fish (pollock) & chips plus a side of turtles. Service was good and our waitress was delightful. After reading mixed reveiws for Big Bens, hearing fantastic word around town and finding unbelievable deals in the local news papers. It was time to check it out for myself. Over all I had a great experience. I had a Cesar salad as an app and a beef soup for my boyfriend. The salad was a classic nothing unusual and the soup was perfect, it was thick and hardy. It tasted like my grandmother made it straight out of the garden. I had the one pc basa and chips, it was cooked to perfection! My boyfriend ordered a rare steak and got just that. The whole presentation of his meal came as a surprise. It was beautiful. A good portion of meat, veg and lovely mashed potatoes. The service was great, our server was friendly, she made our visit welcoming but not over baring. We will coming back to try breakfast, heard that weekend mornings are a hit. Lire plus
