They provide the gift of sight to the financially challenged. Before I rose above the poverty line, Lenscrafters gift of sight program for glasses when I was down and out and without a home. I would definitely recommend working with optician Mathew at The Eye Opener in Port Coquitlam when you are next shopping for prescriptive glasses. He was professional, courteous and very helpful throughout the whole experience. He really listens to what you want and then tries to match you up with frames that are suitable. The final price for my new progressive lenses was good and I was also happy with what he charged to put new lenses into glasses I already had.

I have had the opportunity to work with both Dr. Jennings and Dr. Hughes. I was referred to them by an Ophthalmologist a number of years back and I appreciate that I was given the name of two very competent Optometrists. I feel my eyes are in very good hands. I would recommend them to anyone looking for Doctors who want to dig to the bottom of challenges.

We took both of our daughters (3.5 and 1) to get their eyes checked with Dr. Clement Chan, and he did very well to make the eye exam quick and fun for them. My elder daughter had told him about her favourite Disney princess, and Clement prepared a special video of that princess for her to watch during one part of her eye exam. We appreciated Clement's thoroughness and friendliness, and will definitely be back.
As a bonus, his office is newly renovated and right besides Menchie's.

The store has a very attentive & intelligent optometrist. This greatly helps as as new types of eyeglasses, such as my new bifocals, need some explanation. Prices are reasonable and I would certainly go back.
