We enjoyed the patio during the Mill Race Folk Festival. Lovely cold beer and sangria. Our server apologized for being slow, but we honestly didn't notice that. The festival made the place busier than usual but we felt very well attended to.
The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. One of the few places in downtown Galt that serves up delicious food at affordable prices.

My new dentures, a complete upper and a two teeth lower partial, fit perfectly. They blend in with my own teeth so well no one could see the difference. I have had them for a month and have not had any need for adjustments. Arjun treated me with a great deal patience and instructed me well. Arjun went out of his way to ensure I got full available coverage from the new Federal Dental Plan, I would not hesitate to recommend Arjun to anyone looking for dentures. Have been twice now- one business lunch and then was so pleased took the hubby. Ordered from daily special menu both time, Good deal- lunch was soup/app & main , dinner was app/main & dessert. Great price & wonderful food. Best Mango Creme Brule ever - and what was that raspberry/chocolate sauce YUMM! Steaks were melt in the mouth. So much food on both occassions had huge doggie bags to enjoy later. How can anyone not Luv this place. Beautiful, great friendy service, washrooms to die for and the food Martha, oh the food! Well done all around!

I've visited this little sub and ice cream shop many times and it always has me feeling very satisfied, and warm inside cause I was able to help out a small mom and pop shop.
The man working here, whom I've yet to get his name is a vibrant heat warming fella'. Very friendly, makes you feel like a regular.
The food, great! I can't believe anyone would rate this place poorly, for what it is its FANTASTIC.
I've tried almost all the subs on the menu, my most recent visit I got the rib sub for myself, loaded it up with all the toppings, made a huge mess eating it and loved every minute of it.
Its places and eats like this that make life all worth while, yes its a big statement I know but its truly a gem. Something has to be done right to get consistent high ratings. I was shocked to see someone write a poor review on this place knowing full well what they were getting into. These are the comfort foods that are hard to come by in this day and age with big franchised companies saturating the industry.
From street meat to racks of lamb, I've had it all and this place gets my approval! I will be coming back and I'm bringing a crowd.
Wheres Anthony Bourdain when you need him?
p.s. To anyone knocking a mom and pop shop, check your self before you wreck yourself.

Classico's feature a variety of Mediterranean and Portuguese cuisine. Some great aspects of the restaurant is their use and selection of fresh ingredients, individualized service, and intimate atmosphere.
When we arrived we were promptly greeted and sat. After getting situated the owner approached us and started a casual conversation and asked us if we were interested in eating seafood or meat. We chose seafood and the owner then informed us that he would prepare us a personalized platter for two that we could share. This was kind of a relief because the menu was small didn’t have many items that were tempting to me. He also helped us pick out a bottle of Portuguese wine that complemented our dinner perfectly. . We were very impressed with the quality and freshness of food that we were served. Our Appetizer was grilled Ahi Tuna that had been brought into the restaurant that day. Our platter had some of the best tasting seafood that we have ever had, each prepared in a different way with a complementary fruit or vegetable. I really enjoyed the small and intimate atmosphere, there were about 20 small tables inside and four tables on their small patio at the entrance. Overall it had a very warm and cozy feel.
I would recommend Classicos to anyone who enjoys fresh ethnic food for a moderate and fair price. If you enjoy family run places rather than franchise type establishments this is the place to go. The service is helpful and goes beyond expectations, perfect for small family gatherings or couples of all ages.
Also returned six months later and the wait staff and owner recognized me immediately!
