The crust was thin and perfectly crispy, with a slight char that hinted at the traditional wood-fired baking method. Made a reservation online, probably a good idea, heard it was a busy spot. We were late for our reservation but they honored it. And it was packed. I had the special, can't remember the type of beef but it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and the poutine was also amazing. My girl had the turkey burger and sweet potato fries and she loved it. We also had the Pickle Fries (good) as a starter and two pints of beer, bill with tip was around $80. Arrived late, cook had left but as we just left without food, the owner and his wife invited us back in and his chef wife made wonderful chicken Alfredo and done in seemingly minutes. The service was worth the trip alone and the delicious portions filled this 270 pound (123kg) hearty eater. The waiter, Ray, extremely nice and the owner introduced wife after we finished. Ive been a loyal customer at Jerusalems on Eglinton for as long as i can remember and cant seem to get the same exotic flavours anywhere else in T.O. The best falafel, creamiest hummos, best entrees...restaurant is always busy but the always courteous staff manage to get patrons into the rest. without a long frustrating wait!
