OK, I admit it's been 20+ years since I went to U of L.
I've put back a lot of wings in a lot of bars around the world since then, but Memories are still with the Duke.
Holly Cow Dung! a lot has changed since 1991. My first thoughts were "what have the done with my old hang out". But after a couple of visits, I now rank Pop's Pub number 1. Like I said I've been to a lot of pubs since graduation and I miss the old Duke, but WOW! This place is awesome, Class +, Service + and food ++++ this is no longer the old duke, but the Best Pub I've had the privilege to patronise.
The fact is, the staff bust their Buns in this place getting the wings out: fresh, hot and huge. The beer is cold and the scenery is way more attractive even if I'm getting too old to admire the fact that The U of L always had the hottest women in all of Alberta.
If you want a night out with the boys, or a hockey game. With big beers and bigger wings, this is your place.

I have great respect for this shop. Tommy is loathe to fix things unless he is sure that it needs to be done. He has done many free inspections of cars/trucks I have looked at for purchase. In one case, he identified a vehicle that had been in a serious front end crash and accurately listed all of the repairs that had been performed. But what I like most about this place is that they have taught me lots about cars and their maintenance.

Wonderful salon. Called last-minute and they fit me in for a pedicure. Very nice massage, all different sorts of treatments on legs and feet, even hot stones that felt great. It cost half the amount of another salon's pedi and was just as nice and relaxing. Great family business; I will definitely go again!

Dr. Nelson and all the staff go above and beyond. I am always happy with the work that I get done, and they explain everything and make me as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I was ready to give up on my incredibly old laptop, it was so old and wouldnt update and I wasnt able to use it hardly at all. Brought it in to the computer department at London Drugs and it only took a few days for them to fix it, now its like I have a brand new laptop and it didnt cost me even half as much as a new laptop would have. So grateful for London Drugs!

i believe Dr, Chuck Galambos is the best dentist in lethbridge. I have been going to his dental clinic for over 10 years now and have always been happy with his work. His staff is friendly and his office is ultramodern. He is a bit of a perfectionist with his work, which I appreciate. I was previously afraid of dentists and avoided going unless i had an emergency, but Dr. Chuck has really helped lower my anxiety and aprehension in going. DELICIOUS!! The best steak I think I've ever had! Was driving from Ontario to BC and stopped here for a nice dinner and was THOROUGHLY impressed with the quality of the food, the professional and pleasant demeanor of my server and the cleanliness of the restaurant. At the Lethbridge Home Depot today, we bought several components to make cabinets. Unfortunately, we don't know the name of the great lady who helped us. She lifted some very heavy boxes, climbed up on a ladder to get some very hard to get other packages we needed and overall was very helpful and courteous. We want her and her supervisors to know what a valued employee she is so I hope someone there recognizes this particular purchase. Thanks again!

While visiting the Lethbridge area and Not knowing which cab company to call, I picked 5th ave and I am glad I did.
I have had to use them several times and ALL of the different drivers have been so polite and friendly! The cabs are clean.
My only negative ( and the only reason I rated them 4/5 stars) is the after hours dispatchers from Calgary.
1 wasn’t too bad ( not great either) but the other was downright rude!!!
The local dispatchers who worked the daytime hours were great!!!

Chris was awesome throughout the mortgage process. Initially, we met a different mortgage broker who told us we weren't eligible for mortgage, that remark almost discouraged us but when Chris stepped in, the story changed, he stood by us and told us that YES we are eligible. He was very accessible, encouraging, with positive attitudes and kept us updated through out the process. Shortly after, we got our mortgage and he found a great deal for us. If you need mortgage, Chris is your man!!

Jeff built a 12 x 16 deck for us. He paid attention to the details of the appearance of the finished project. He has the right tools to complete the task and is knowledgeable about products. In our case Jeff was willing to advise us on a second project (a gazebo) that was going to be mounted on the deck. He ensured there were enough supports underneath the decking to attach and support it. Jeff worked well within the timeline he quoted us. We would definitely use Next Level In future.
