The menu is classic; even the pickiest eater can find a steak, salad or pasta dish that they will enjoy here. Plus, the cocktails are fabulous, if you feel like indulging prior to the ballet.

It may not quite be within walking distance for you, depending on how far you’re willing to walk, but it is ideal for grabbing a quick bite before driving to the auditorium. Their strong espresso will give you that jolt to stay awake, and their pizzas and other divine creations will keep you full long after the final curtain drops.
Sugar Bowl Coffee & Juice Bar

While it may be a great spot for post-show beers, it’s also perfect for enjoying a meal or a snack before heading to see West Side Story. Whether you go for one of their famous burgers, or simply share a charcuterie platter, you’ll be satiated and close to the action.
Zinc Restaurant

Their elegant menu is influenced by the different displays of art at the gallery, and the chef uses locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible.
The Westin Edmonton

The hotel’s restaurant, Share, sprawls from the dining room into the lobby lounge, making it easy to get a table prior to a show at the Citadel or the nearby Winspear Centre. The menu is heavy on steak and seafood, but has lighter options too, if you’re worried about nodding off during A Christmas Carol or Romeo and Juliet.
