As an expat Brit of East Indian origin living in Edmonton, food is a huge part of my life. While I cook almost all of my mother’s recipes and the cuisine of my childhood (and I obviously think that the best place for Indian food is my house, especially if mamma is visiting, natch), I also crave food from other parts of India, especially during busy days when I can’t be bothered to cook or I am too busy.
