From an early age, Yassmeen Chybli has always wanted to run her own business. As a teen, she worked in her father’s bakery. “Being in that position in my father’s bakery inspired me to do something on my own,” says Yassmeen. “It took several years to get to the point where we are today, but it has always been my dream to be my own boss.” In 2005, she finally realized her dream by opening Eat-A-Pita on 17 Avenue.
Yassmeen’s bubbly personality greets customers and sets a welcoming stage for a tasty trip to the Mediterranean, featuring tasty kebabs, shawarmas and donairs. The combination of taste and great service has made Eat-A-Pita a popular spot for those in the Forest Lawn area. “I’m a real people person,” says Yassmeen. “When you know how to treat a customer, your business grows. Customer service is always number one.”
