Ken Tkachuk has a talent for music trivia, and it's through that talent that he discovered his knack for entertaining. The official beginning of Pulse Entertainment was in 2002 when a local Carstairs pub approached Ken with a job. “They asked me to host their weekly trivia night,” Ken says. “I went on entertaining at various local venues until 2006 when Chad Hunter, Kevin Stalt and I got serious with making it into a business.”

You can catch Ken and his collaborators at Barley’s Pub every weekend. “But our specialty is weddings, ever since we got started with them in 2006,” he adds. Business has been booming for the trio of entertainers since 2006. “Carstairs is in central Alberta,” Ken says. “There are a lot of accessible markets like Red Deer and Calgary, and we’ve gone as far as Fort McMurray and Lethbridge.”

    Ken recently did our wedding and knocked it out of the park. He is incredible knowing when to play the right music to liven up the party. His experience is second to none and his equipment and photo booth are fantastic. It sure took stress off of us knowing we were in good hands with Kenny.
