Ljubica Todorovic (“Luba”, for short) is an artist known for her eclectic artwork styles, from abstract landscapes to colourful sugar skull bunnies. Her wide range of abilities in the form is sustained and broadened by her art supply business Sketch Art Supplies & Picture Framing. “I went to the Alberta College of Art & Design right after high school,” Ljubica says. “I graduated with my bachelor in fine arts in 2006. I’ve always been an artist – it’s what I’ve always wanted to do full-time.” Some of her work is on display at the shop as framing examples, which Ljubica also does in-store.

Sketch Art Supplies & Picture Framing opened in 2011 in its new location in Mount Pleasant. “I started working at art supply stores to supplement my art practice,” Ljubica says. “It is has turned into a full-time job. I paint during weekends and on evenings.”

    Wonderful products, even better price! The new on-line store is amazing! The prices are cheaper than I can find anywhere in the city! Cheapest framing I've come across and amazing customer service! Hate going anywhere else! Also check the sweet pick-up/inner city delivery options.

    overpriced, not in time

    I can not recommend this Art shop. Overpriced, not in time. Last time i ordered a simple picture framing. Liuba, the owner, promised to make it in 10 days. Finally, it was not ready even in 1 month! so asked a refund. I bought a frame for 15$, made it myself in 10 minutes and 140$ economized !!

    Customer did not realize what "custom picture framing" meant (price point) and was rude, condescending. At the time of drop-off, customer did not indicate that he needed a rush job. Picture frame was damaged in shipping and had to be returned to manufacturer. Estimated wait times may vary depending on the project. Refund was given in a timely manner and delay situation explained; however, customer was clearly experiencing buyer's remorse and decided to take it out on me instead.

    This is a shop th...

    This is a shop that should have the motto "Less is more". It's in a small building that deceived my mind as I was expecting a bigger store in a strip mall or something like that. At the time of my visit, there was only one employee holding down the fort and she was really friendly. The store has an excellently massive collection of Copic Markers, Pencil Crayons, and Sketchbooks/Sketch Pads and it sure looks like they do a great job at maintaining inventory.
