At East Van Graphics' spacious Main Street warehouse, every spare inch of wall space is covered in posters from past jobs. The Vancouver Folk Festival. Theatre Under the Stars. Posters of every shape and size, for clients big and small, painting a vivid picture of the company – and owner Jeff Grayston's – 30 years in the game.

“It was just me back then,” recalls Jeff, who started the company back in 1989. “It was probably five or six years before I brought anyone else on." Jeff was originally a photographer and started East Van Graphics with the concept of doing photo business cards for realtors and car dealers. "I worked out of my house in those days – I had a big house with a big basement, where I could store everything. Because it was all pre-digital, you had to save physical copies of everything, all the photos and all the artwork.”
