    Proud to be a Nanny On Call

    Knowing the screening process involved in becoming a member of the team, I always feel confident saying that every nanny from this agency comes with the best qualifications, references, energy, ingenuity, and patience. NOC also provides ongoing professional development, so the already top-notch nannies are continually expanding their skills and knowledge. The staff are incredibly helpful and supportive of their staff, and every client I've worked for has said the same.

    All of the wrinkles ironed out

    Working for Nannies on Call required a police background check, 2 references, 2 years of previous child care experiences so any nanny who takes one of your bookings is bondable as well as capable. As an employee, the on-call service seems to have all of the wrinkles ironed out as this company has been in operation for more than a decade. I receive the job board updates via mobile email and can request on my phone. Booking agents are always available to answer questions and send job confirmation emails. The flexibility and convenience of this company is incredible. There is also a full/part time permanent nanny placement service.

    Meets Needs of Diverse Families

    I'm a nanny at Nannies on Call here in Vancouver, and one of my favourite things about taking bookings is meeting the diverse needs of families. Whether it be showing up at a first-time mother's doorstep to relieve her anxiety over leaving her toddler; bringing creative games and activities for out-of-town children at a hotel booking; or simply spending some time cooking dinner for the children and cuddling on the couch to watch a movie... I love meeting the perfect need at the present time. It especially gives me joy to see parents carve out time in their busy lives to go on dates and spend quality time together. Raising children is a challenging task and parents can benefit greatly from spending time away from the kids to rejuvenate and refocus. I can't count the many times that couples have returned from an evening out on the town and were beaming with happiness, so grateful that they went out.

    Unique and exceptional Nanny service

    I am a Manny for Nannies On Call, yep you read right, I am a 'male nanny' for this wonderful company since January of 2011 and I can tell you that they are one of the professional and personable companies I have ever been involved with. From day one I have been treated nothing but respect from the company and its team players. They have the highest standards and expectations of their nanny and manny team which I believe give their clients a great level or trust and care for the work that is provided. For families that we provide care for, I believe truly heartedly we provide an amazing service always with in the best interest of the child(ren). We all provide a variety of skills and experience that will truly bring nothing but the highest level of care and fun. I also admire the management team that stays in close contact with families and their nannies to ensure that quality of service is high and feedback to constant to be the best the industry. So why does a male want to be a Manny for this company? I believe I have so much fun and excitement to bring the kids and their families with a keen level to safety. I also believe that my values are aligned with the company's and my greatest recommendation for this company is if I had my own kids.... I would use Nannies On Call in a heart beat.

    Great for Nannies, Fantastic for Families!

    I have worked with Nannies On Call in both Victoria and Vancouver, B.C., and my experiences have been nothing but good. I was impressed with the credentials and training required to be considered a NOC nanny, and knowing that both the nanny and the family have been 'screened' is a comfort to all. From 3 months (twins!) through 15 years old, and 4 hours through 7 days, my work with NOC has been anything but "routine" - there's always someone new to meet, a new game to discover or invent, and each family has a personality of its own. I've yet to nanny for a family that I wouldn't happily return to, and have spent time with some pretty amazing little ones in my time with NOC. I am now working full-time, and I only request the nanny jobs that sound the most fun to me and take the gigs where I'm requested, whenever possible. I don't work with NOC for the pay - though it's definitely fair - but for the chance to get a kid-fix and have some fun 'family time' on the weekends. Thanks, NOC, for bringing me together with some great people in a cities that are new to me!

    A Nanny's Review

    I am a nanny at Nannies On Call and I love working with this company! I am happy knowing I provide peace of mind to parents, that when they are away from the home they don't worry about their children. While the parents are out I get to build forts, play make believe, help with homework, enjoy storytime and so much more - how can the day get better than that? All of us nannies have years of experience working with children, have had RCMP security checks, are trained in first aid and cpr and love working with children. Nannies On Call is dedicated to children and their parents, always making sure they receive the best care and service possible.

    Exceptional Nanny Service

    I'm a Nannies on Call nanny and a mother -- and I would recommend the service to parents because every nanny that works with the agency has had a criminal record check and completed First Aid and CPR. Knowing that a nanny is qualified to give life-saving aid in an emergency, as well as the comfort of knowing the nanny is a law-abiding citizen would alleviate a lot of concern from a parent's mind when leaving their children under the care and supervision of a nanny with Nannies on Call. As a mother and a nanny, I try to give the same love and support to the family that I would expect if I were in their shoes. I've experienced nothing but positive memories with the families that I have worked with thus far.
