We decided to take the kids to the Discovery...

We decided to take the kids to the Discovery Centre downtown over the March Break. This restaurant is located just a couple of doors down and since they had specials out front, we figured it'd be fairly quick. Since it was St. Patrick's Day, we probably should have gone to the Irish Pub instead. The kids split a lunch special, and I had the same one. It consisted of vermicelli rice noodles with 2 skewers of chicken satay with a peanut sauce. Two small grilled shrimp, cucumber salad and a spring roll. I can't say that any of it had much flavour. It was okay. That's all I can say about it. My husband had one of the other specials which consisted of a hot and sour Thai soup noodle and a spring roll. He maintained that if he worked downtown, he'd probably go there once in a while for lunch, but it wasn't great. The meals wer 8.95 and 9.95 plus drinks (pop, pop, mango juice and water). The bill came to about $35. I wouldn't go back, my husband might.
