Always yummy as you'd expect from a Swiss chalet. It's a very busy location but certain times of the day it is easier to be seated. Waits aren't usually too long. One time they ran out of chicken! But I love this restaurant and would say its my favourite place for dining.
Everyone knows what to expect at to eat at a Swiss Chalet, so I won't bother going into that here. What I want to discuss is the service. We went here earlier this year. The server was alright and brought crayons for our toddler. The meal was overpriced for what you get, really. But what really miffed me was the hostess. When we first got in, here we are holding a fidgety 2 year old, and we are waiting and waiting and waiting for someone to at least greet us and show us to our table. Nothing. There was nobody at the entrance to even greet you. There were plenty of glass-eyed waitresses or hostesses who walked by and just gave us and the people behind us empty stares. They didn't even bother to say that it would just be a moment longer. When they FINALLY show up, after SEVERAL minutes, the girl doesn't even apologize for the unusually long wait, she doesn't even say hello. She just leads us to our table and leaves. That really stunk.

From the moment we sat down our server Tracey was GREAT, our drinks were on the table in two minutes and she was very knowledgable about everything on the menu. Taking the time to ask the kids what they wanted and being patient when my mother in law took to long to order. I will contimue to visit Bayfield Street Swiss Chalet and request Tracey as my server everytime.
