Shoeless Joe's

Placed an order through Uber Eats. Received the completely wrong order and Tracey (the general manager at the Courtice Location) personally drove the correct meal to our place ! Amazing customer service. If everyone did their job the way Tracey did the world would be a better place ! Thank you.

90% empty but "too busy"

SLOW service, extremely mediocre food. 10 min. until the barkeep noticed we were there (only 2 tables and ZERO people at the bar). A hamburger and grilled pita thing took close to an hour. All this despite 4 people in the bar area, 6 small tables in the main area and 15 ppl on the patio. The pita thing was burnt ("it's supposed to be that way...it's grilled") and the burger below average. When I asked the manager what's the deal with the wait when the place is 90% empty he claimed they had lots of orders earlier...we were there earlier...an hour earlier...and maybe 4 tables had left in that time. He had the opportunity to smooth things over easily but explained there were lots of chits earlier and brusquely wished us to enjoy our meal. I usually am a 20% tipper but in over 30 years this was the second time I've never tipped.

cook 'em!!

The beer was tasty, and on special, so I figured I'd order the wings. I think they just boiled them and then put some sauce on top. Horrible, plus .. some bruised markings. ach! If I'm eating a wing the last thing I want to be thinking of is how those chickens met their inevitable fate. On the plus side, the waitress was delightfully friendly.

My boyfriend and I went to Shoeless Joe's where I live for a few dates. The meal I ordered was very delicious, tasty, and it was just right. My boyfriend also enjoyed his meal here too, the service was really friendly. The dessert was really filling and to die for, my boyfriend and I love coming here and yes it may be expensive but worth it.
