My experience at The Cellar can be articulated in two words; great ambiance! Aside from the delicious food and fabulous service, the atmosphere this restaurant promotes will be remembered. I will most definitely return!

Best Restaurant Around

The Cellar is an amazing dining experience. Perfect food, friendly staff and an atmosphere that has you wanting to stay for hours. My husband and I recently moved back to the area and are very glad we can walk on over to our favorite place. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Wonderful Restauraunt, Obnoxious Town Folk

This is a beautiful restauraunt, with amazing food! We were in the area, staying at a B&B (The Jabberwock = amazing!) for our first anniversary, and planned to have a nice dinner out. We chose The Cellar mostly because of the rave reviews, and found them to be entirely accurate. This is truly a fantastic restauraunt. Except for the rudeness of the local residents, we had a wonderful meal. It would seem that most everyone knows everyone else in this town, and we happened to be seated next to an apparantly popular older couple. Everyone who walked by, including the servers, and all the people at surrounding tables, stopped by to chat with them for ten minutes or more, so a good deal of our evening was spent listening to who had thier drive way redone, and stories about how so and so's work life is going. After having someone's derrier less than a foot away from my face for what seemed an eternety, I'd say that this restauraunt is amazing, but the town's folk need to learn some ettiquite.

Absolutely Perfect

This place has fabulous food and chef Brady is amazing. I recently learned I had to have a gluten free diet and Brady was happy to accommodate by making the necessary modifications to my favourite meal (the lamb!) so that I could safely enjoy it. My husband and I visit a few times a year and will continue to go back. The steak melts in your mouth, the lamb is the best I've ever had, bar none, and potatoes, veggies, etc. are all done to perfection.

I come every year for a friends birthday... and I have yet to not enjoy myself. The service is friendly, accomodating and quick and the food is exceptional.

Best escargot around! Steak cooked perfectly. Very nice presentation. Great atmosphere and excellent service! Brady the owner/chef came and checked up on us. What you expect for a fine dining experience.

WOW!! Absoutely Fantastic!

First timers, and everything was stellar. The service was very friendly and relaxed. The food was one of our best meals ever, the watermelon feta salad was outstanding and the beef and salmon melted on our taste buds. Definately a return visit will be in order.

OUR NEW FAVOURITE RESTAURANT

We had the best evening. The staff is great and very personable. Just happened to stumble upon this hidden treasure. Food was terrific (husband brags that the prime rib is the best ever). Now we are telling all of our friends and trying to get a big group of us together to go for an evening soon. Definitely recommend the cellar! Worth the time and money!

The Best little Cellar in town!!!!!

Been quite a few times, so we have experience pretty much most of the menu. This is now our new favorite restaurant. Anything you order is done to perfection and the service is top notch.

I love The Cellar, and go whenever I am in Georgetown. The service is great and the food is the best I've ever had. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. There desserts, specifically the cheesecake, continues to be my favourite. I've tried several dishes and loved all of them. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend The Cellar!

I had a colleague from the USA visiting and...

I had a colleague from the USA visiting and suggested that we go to The Cellar. I explained that we could go somewhere close to his hotel in Mississauga but I didn't know what the food would be like. I told him if we go to The Cellar, we'll have a great dining experience. During the evening, I overheard him speak to his wife on the phone. I heard him tell his wife he was brought to this little town and just had the best meal he has ever eaten. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Wine suggestions were wonderful and service was impeccable. It was a Thursday evening so wasn't too busy and we had a lot of extra attention. The Cellar continues to be my favourite restaurant.

Well where do I start? The place was busy - maybe that was why the service lacked. The lamb was over cooked and tasteless unless I smothered it with sauce. The beef was under cooked. By the time our server came back to our table I had eaten what I could and my wife hardly touched hers. This was very disappointing considering the great reviews this restaurant has. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. I expected a much more gratifying experience. We won't be back.

I love my food and wine i just moved from the city and this place is just as good as any restaurant in Toronto,The Chef-owner is young and knows his stuff he used to be a 5 diamond chef the town is lucky to have him here,i won't eat anywhere else.

If you order this platter for two...bring a couple of pals along! This was an amazing dinner with enough food for four adults! We will be back for sure! Don't suppose they will open one in Milton??!!

We dined at The Cellar for the first time this past weekend. Without a doubt, the best meal, ever! Seafood platter was out of this world. Appetizers were great. The prime rib melts in your mouth. This restaurant is a must. Definitely be back.

We have been twice to this restaurent, in the past month or so. Great atmosphere, great service. The dinner described above, was a huge amount of food, and could actually have fed 4. The only issue was that, there was so much food, it began to become cold as you "worked you way" through your dinner. The service however, was excellent (both times we've been)! The staff communicate well, and are keen to ensure that you are happy. The wine was very good, and the wine selection was decent. We plan on becoming regulars here!!

This was overall a great restaurant experience. The salad was fine, but it was the mains that really made it! The chicken supreme with the maple mash was amazing, and the steak and trimmings was done to perfection. I wouldn't have the brulee again but the cheesecake was excellent. Service was mediocre, but fine for our visit.

A nice ambience to celebrate with live dinner music. Soup was excellent and the Cesar salad was very fresh. The two Lobster tails with shrimp was very tasty along with a nice array of vegetables. The Blueberry cheesecake topped off the meal along with an espresso cafe. Will be back again.
