The last 2 visits were very disappointing. The hot beef sandwiches were cold, the veggies were so water logged you could wring them out and the baked potato was so old and shriveled the cook should have been ashamed for sending them out. The waitress never came by to enquire about our meal even when she cleared the table and it was obvious that the meal was hardly touched. Our previous visit was similar. I don't think we would go back. Too bad it has gone downhill
Everything was good, wish that the food came out faster. Just that they need a better parking lot. POT HOLES GALORE! The food was really good, and I LOVE THEIR BREAKFAST!! IT WAS GREAT.
Diner atmosphere and plentiful food.
I would have been willing to pay a bit more for our meals if they had used a better quality of meat. The steak was thin and little on the tough side.
If you are more interested price rather than taste this is the place.
Driving home from the cottage, we stopped at The Ranch for dinner. As busy as this restaurant was, the service was great, but more importantly the Steak was amazing. I tend to prefer Steak as my meal of choice. Good work Ranch you have a repeat customer.
we had the brekfast special as well as the humburger very accomodating when asking to switch french fries for salad good cesar salad good value and portions
The food at The Ranch is always good. The veal was tender and cooked just right. The baked potato was also very nice.
Complaints. This is the 2nd visit in a row that they had run out of the special of the day and we had to choose another entree.
As well, they had run out of coleslaw (side) that was on the menu for the veal. Our table was not properly set when we sat down, and even had to ask for a spoon for the coffees after they had been brought. We had to flag down a waitress... and had to ask for knives and forks. Service was slow as well.
This is not normal for The Ranch... and we will try them again as the food is very good.

Fish and Chips every friday night, you can't go wrong. I have loved almost everything i have had off the menu. Great breakfast too, Ranchman's Breakfast, two eggs, toast, peameal/ham/bacon/sausage homefries! You cant go wrong and you will be full, for under $5!!!
Go there as soon as you can!
The half-chicken dinner is my favourite and I almost always order it - it's big enough for two , so I take part home for my wife. On Sundays the special is Roast Turkey and well worth the drive from Peterborough where we live

the meals were delicous! the food was quick and hot to our tables, served by very friendly servers. the atmosphere was very cheerfull and we actually heard music we hadnt heard in a long time1 its been a long time since we had such a home cooked meal in a restaurant that even had "real potatoes"
