They forgot about our tea, and only gave it to us when we asked for it. We were at a six-person table, and we were only a party of three. Once our meal came out they decided that three other strangers should join us.
That would have been fine, but they didn't even ask us or inform us, they simply shoved our napkins and utensils over.
Once we finished our meal, they swiped away our food and unfinished drinks, and pointed us to the cash register. We felt like we weren't valued, and rushed.
Food is average. Visited this restaurant many times since summer. The best service I had was my first time but all the other times were horrible. The owner is rude and so is her daughter or the waitress/cashier. We are so disappointed in this restaurant due to the lack of customer service that they offer, they don't smile, speak to you really rudely. It doesn't matter if it doesn't cost much, we come here to eat, we expect to be happily greeted. We will never come back here again.
Worst Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to. Waited almost an hour only for them to "claim" they don't even have the dish I ordered (the table beside ours got the same dish). There goes my entire lunch break and I didn't even get any food. AWFUL. Probably a good thing, the food coming out of the kitchen looked DISGUSTING.
This is my family's come to place for Thai and Chinese food. We usually order take-out due to time constraints, but we have dined in once or twice and service was fast. When we do take-out, we order Thai dinner for 4 or Chinese dinner for 5. The two are about the same price, but the Chinese dinner is what we love because you get a lot of food for a good price. We have been ordering from this restaurant for 2 years now and the food has been great and consistent.
This restaurant has the best Thai and Hot n Sour soup in the area, i have been eatting here for 4 years+, going to utm they deliver to the campus,
I usually get the same dishs everytime: Thai chicken fried rice and chili chicken.
i would recommend for people people to try this place. I usaully stick to the same dishs ( chili chicken, thai fried rice, hot n sour soup, basil chicken)
My husband and I tried this place at the recommendation of our friends who are frequent customers.
It seems to be a popular take-out place as when we first arrived, we were asked "Dine-in or take-out?". The service was friendly.
We ordered the hot & sour soup (with tofu and chicken), which was delicious and filling. We also ordered the pad thai and thai basil shrimp (both "medium" spicy). The portions were large, perfect for sharing. The pad thai was great, however, I felt that the thai basil shrimp was kind of bland, and not a "medium" spicy dish. I wouldn't order it again.
We had fried banana with ice cream for dessert, the perfect way to end the meal.
My family and I love thai food, but was hesitant about trying this place out because on the outside the place looked run-down. When we went inside for the first time it actually looked great, lovely thai table clothes and painted walls with thai paintings.
The menu had alot of choices ranging from soup and salads to stirfry and rice dishes. The highlight dish for me was the Pad Thai, the flavour was really good and was topped with fried tiger shrimps
We went as a family of 6 and finished our meal for under $10.00 per person and we all left full.
I will gladly come again.
When i work i always drive by this place, some friends said this place was good so i came this weekend to try the food out. we went around 8 on a sunday not very busy. people came to pick-up alot.
For our meal we ordered Thai Hot and Sour soup, Thai royal york fried rice, chili chicken,beef spicy noodle, steam rice.
The soup very was good and flavourful. the rice and noodle were big in sizes as well. the chili chicken was also good.
The food were large enough that we were full while costing under 10 dollars a person for dinner.
i will visit again, a must try.
Last week end my wife and a couple of friends were looking for some thai food to eat and we found this place. i gotta say hands down in my opinion the thai hot and sour soup is the best in mississauga. we ordered 2 fried rices both of the house specialy: with chicken,shrimp and beef, the size of the rice was BIG very filling. we also ordered the pad thai which was very good and lastly we had chili chicken. i believe the highlights of the dinner was their soup and chili chicken. cant wait to go again.
Well its almost been a year since a came here, due to me moving to London and now that im back in Mississauga i just had to go back to this place.
I went on a weekday with my co-workers who have been comming here on a weekly basis. i ordered their thai lunch special which was very good the green chicken curry actually had thai taste and the price of lunch is under 8 dollars chinese orders r under 7 and it comes with a drink.
I enjoyed this meal and will be returning every week.
Great place to eat for lunch. I went with co workers at lunch, the food was amazing you got to pick a main dish with springroll soup and rice. i also went with my friends at night great place to eat. i wish the resturant was bigger though, it can get very busy at times

I was referred here from friends and i loved it. They had halal meat so all of my friends could eat together. The food was amazing and the soups are must tries. looking at the price you might think its expensive but the fried rice come in big portions. i highyl reccommend the Thai hot and sour soup and the Thai royal york fried rice.

I couldn't tell you if the food is authentic or not, but it does taste good (especially if you ask for it hot!). The portions are larger than others however the service can be laughable. You can find the server eating in the dining room or shouting at someone while taking an order over the phone (lol!). If you're willing to put up with that here and there, this isn't a bad place.

Oh behalf of my friends and family I would like to say that Royal thai is one of my favorite places to attend for dinner. I now have such a large group of people who love this restaurant and would go back in a hear beat.

Very poor attempt at serving Thai food. Pad Thai tasted like Shanghai Noodles and was simply awful. Spring rolls were very plain and this was your regular Chinese food with Thai names.

Excellend food. Always open late therefore convenient. Thai spicy noodles and garlic chicken is best although everything else is amazing as well! Okay service..

I love this little place. They have AWESOME Thai & Chinese food. We have tried many of their dished and have loved them all. Lovely workers. Great prices. Their combo plates are $5.99 each and we can never finish all of our food. It's a great place.
