This is a great place to go for greek food. I am also lucky to say that I had the pleasure of having the Shis-Kabob Hut cater my wedding three years ago and we were oh so happy with the results. They served up a great meal to our specifications, and they had to travel 2 hours to get to the venue of the wedding (it was not in peterbourgh) but the food tasted jsut like it was served in the resturant. My husband and I plus all out family and friends are frequent visiters of this great place. Go in and enjoy some great greek food. You will not be disapointed!
We are regular visitors to the Shish-Kabob Hut. We enjoy the food and atmosphere, and really believe in supporting a business that does so much in the community. This is definitely a restaurant that is worth visiting again.

After hearing good things we finally made it to the Shish Kebab Hut. Service was fine, atmosphere was like my grandmothers living room, cheap, kitschy and unimpressive. Boring, bland uninteresting food that tasted like it came from box in the freezer. Incredibly overpriced. I could make it at home for an 8th of the cost, and 10 times the quality. I suppose if you have been eating there for years you would be used to the bad quality, but if you are considering going, I would suggest one of the other Greek places in town. Much better food for a better price, or exceptionally delicious food for a comparably high price.

We were very pleased to see the owner putting local product (lamb) on the menu and the server suggested a lovely wine that match it perfectly. Keep up the good work.
I could not get a last minute reservation anywhere. so I deceided to try this restaurant and take my date on Valentines dinner. Well I fed her, but we we're both very disappointed. We read that they were the best in town, I guess best in terrible food. Next year I'm going to book early. as of tommorrow at a place that I tried to take her and could not get. This time next year I will propose and do it right. Honey if you ever find out about this, I apogize, I will take you to the other place you love so much, I have already reserved for 2009. I have been eating this meal for years at this restaurant. The tigania is unlike any stir-fry I have tasted in a Greek restaurant and I would definitely recommend it. The salad was full of flavour and dessert was great.

The service is alway great. I have been going to this restaurant for years. My meal was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the new custard dessert I had. I can't remember the Greek name for it, but it was exceptional. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Greek food!
I really enjoyed my meal. The lamb had so much flavour, so did the beef. The saganaki was a largest portion I have ever received at a Greek restaurant. It was my first trying the hot peppers and feta and I loved it! As for the baklava is it clearly homemade, again very tasty. All this for well under $100.00, what great value.

Store bought tsatsiki and baklava, the meat was tasteless and over cooked. For those that have written that have dined here for several years, I must say you have no sense of good flavourful food. I guess you are used to having store bought food, not prepared fresh. The service needs alot of attention. A cookbook is your solution, not already bought products. Get some atmosphere in your place. A newbie from Montreal that knows what real food tastes like.

We did not eat any of this so-called Greek food. The pita bread was burnt, the beef was not medium rare (well done instead) pork too dry, and service was not acceptable, very rude when we complained. So if this was voted best Greek in town, I would hate to try number 2. Tell the owner to eat at real Greek restaurant to get an idea what food should taste like-especially GREEK FOOD! your place is not number one.

Terrible everything, we were told this was voted # 1 for Greek food as close to us (marina)or we travel by foot for another 20 min. to another Greek place with a reputaion for food & wine. So we decided to stay close. Noop! this place wa unexeptable as #1. Boaters eveywhere.
