Haddock

Check Your Bill

Check your bill if you ordered the jalapeño shrimp for $4.99, because chances are you overpaid. A year ago I ordered the jalapeño shrimp that they had advertised on the wall with a big 3 ft. sign that clearly states $4.99. The cashier charged me $7.45 for the shrimp. When I brought it to her attention she refunded me the difference. About a year later I returned. The same sign advertising jalapeño shrimp for $4.99 was still on the wall. Again I was charged $7.45. When I questioned the cashier about it she played dumb, and she refused to refund me the difference. Do the math; 10 overbilled orders a day = $25.00 (that's roughly $10,000.00/year) and this has been going on for at least a year! I have decided to not patronize this place anymore because their fish and chips are not that great either.

Frozen,frozen and frozen. soggy, nasty and small portions. not impressed. i dont have much to say about this place, i dont think people around here know what good fish n chips are. because im looking at these reveiws and dont uderstand them. i try to go to a different place everyweek and so far not impressed with anyhting around here.

If you are looking for great fish and chips this...

If you are looking for great fish and chips this is the place to go! I usually come in for the Tuesday 2.59 special and if you are looking for fast, and friendly takeout this is the place to go. You can't beat the lightly battered fish. I don't know about you but I think heavy thick batter is gross, especially when the fish weighs twice as much after it leaves the fryer, you won't find that here. The fresh cut fries are always cooked to perfection. Great food, great portions at a fair price!

Fast, good size portions, prices were average, shrimp was really good, homestyle fish and chips all the way BUT we had to call back a few times because the line was busy which was a little annoying
