Call Diamond Taxi

Used this company many times. Always very nice & helpful drivers & staff who take calls. Until now. I telephoned to explain to the company that I would be waiting inside the bank next door, because it was cold. He commented that he knew it was cold & cut me off !! How bloody rude!

The person I spoke to on the phone to request a cab was the most rude person I have ever spoken to. I speak perfect English but I have a slight accent . He was so impatient to try to comprehend what I was asking for and very quick to hang up. When I called back he said I should stop calling and he is not sending me a cab. I can’t think of any other reason he did this to me but for my accent. I’m new to Thunder Bay and this is the first impression I get . I will never use these taxi service agn

Rude rude rude , I had three bags and they wear too heavy , and the driver didn't even open the back door until I asked to , he didn't even try to help , I moved from Vancouver , I always gave tips more than 25 percent for the taxi drivers , and I do as well here in Tbay , but this company is awful , the worst driver I've ever met in my life .

I have lived in Thunder Bay my entire life until about two years ago when I moved to London for my post-secondary education. Diamond taxi has always been my preferred mode of transportation and I have never had a bad experience until this last visit home. While I was staying with my friend on Francis street I had called a cab at about 11:10 pm to go towards Port Arthur and at about 11:50 there was no sign of a driver so I called. The dispatcher informed me that a driver had came and called and left. I asked if he could send a next car and he said no and then hung up on me. I called back to make sure he had the right number because I had no missed calls and after some time he finally picked up and confirmed he did in fact have the right number so I told him the driver had not called or indicated in any other way that he had arrived. I also asked why he had hung up on me. The man, William (he said), began to tell me that he didn't hang up and to call a different company. I found this to be quite the slap in the face considering I had insisted we call Diamond Lacey over Roach's, especially considering Roach's came within ten minutes of calling after the incident. Normally I would recommend calling Diamond to any one asking but after tonight I question if I will ever use their services again.

Horrible Compnay!

I have used the "taxi" service more times then i would like to admit. Every time its just horrendous. I have had a driver that had no clue how to find the address i requested. had no GPS to find it, and ultimately kicked me out of the cab for asking him to turn the meter off while we drove around back streets looking for it. Most recently i was flatly refused a cab because it was "a very busy night" and was offered no chance to wait. the answer was simply no. i would recommend you avoid this cab company at all costs.

Fast Service - Courteous drivers

I came into Thunder Bay on business. Diamond-Lacey's took me to my hotel and also gave me a a history lesson on TBay. They also pointed out some interesting landmarks, shopping and restaurant destinations. Prompt service the next morning as promised when I needed to get to my meeting.......Thank YOU!

Worst Cab In Thunder Bay

This company is terrible! The operators told me to "F" off and told me to stop calling. One lady even said she would get her dad to beat me up. The drivers take detours and they take forever to arrive. Very, VERY disappointed!
