If the jewellery you wear is a reflection your personality, then Archives CEO and creative director Jaleh Farhadpour is bright like a diamond.

Polished and powerful, yet down to earth, Jaleh Farhadpour keeps her look simple with a few sparkling gems around her neck and wrists. It’s not only a sample of what she has in her vast collection but a fashion statement that expresses her minimalist sentiment. “Less is more,” she says, explaining that jewellery making, from mining to manufacturing, is a very intense process that takes a lot from the planet. That’s why she says it's better to spend $4,000 on a single precious stone and cherish it forever than buy cheap jewellery that will end up in landfill.

What Jaleh loves, perhaps most, about her eco-friendly collection is that every sapphire, fresh-water pearl, ruby and emerald adornment is made to last forever. “We cannot demonize expensive pieces just because they’re expensive,” says Jaleh. “Jewellery of every generation can last forever, even longer than a painting.”

    Beautifully curated boutique

    ARCHIVES plays host to some of the world's most exquisite and unique jewelry collections and lifestyle brands. It's been open since October 2014 and is located adjacent to the Four Seasons Hotel and Condominiums in the heart of Yorkville. Jewelry designer Jaleh Farhadpour showcases her own collections as well as those of up-and-coming jewelry designers, curating a collection that is exclusive to the boutique. Staff are knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly.
