After coming home to Toronto from a six-month backpacking trip, Jessica Hoang was looking for a new direction in life. On a whim and with the encouragement of a friend, she signed up to get certified as a wedding planner. Jessica then found administrative work at a catering and events company, and a couple months later, a vacancy opened for an event coordinator. “I ended up throwing myself into it, organizing 400-person events for major companies,” she remembers. “I was learning a lot along the way, like how many linens you need, coming up with the menu, logistics, setup, design.”

From there, Jessica started assisting with weddings and events on the side, gaining more skills and experience. Then, at the end of 2014, she left her event coordinator role and started her own wedding and event planning business: Bisous Events.

    We had the best time working with Bisous Events for our wedding this past June of 2019! It was everything we dreamed of, and more! It was completely stress free for both my husband and I. She even stayed later than planned to assist with some final details. Jessica was approachable and very easy to get along with. She planned the most perfect wedding for us and our 200 guests. We are STILL getting compliments about our wedding from friends and family! I would highly recommend Bisous Events!

    We just had our wedding about a week ago and Jessica is, in a word, amazing! It was the best night weve ever had, everything weve ever imagined or wanted, and 10000% completely stress free. Originally we had hired her on for partial planning, but halfway through we realised it was so worth it to pay a little extra to have her organise the rest of the stuff. My husband and I are not the most creative types, so it was great having Jess help create our vision. Because Jess was so experienced in w

    Jessica and her team helped us create our perfect day. We were so grateful we did! Jess held our hand through the entire process. She helped us turn our vision of super modern and glamorous into reality. On the day of, Jess and her team made sure everything ran smoothly and the bride/groom/party and their families didnt have to worry about anything. The day itself went very smoothly and was the wedding of our dreams! I would recommend anyone planning their wedding to engage Jess. Thank you Jess
