That’s how Michael Cranwell, the general manager of the century-old shop, explains what you can find in the store: Two stories of racing, commuter, kids’, mountain, and road bikes, along with shelves and racks of clothing, helmets, baskets, saddle bags, tools and bike parts.

The staff, which is entirely composed of cyclists, helps customers find what they need — from a child’s very first tricycle to a professional bike befitting a top-tier racer. In fact, a new addition is the Guru Fit Experience, a high-end bike fit machine that allows Duke’s Cycle to find each rider’s unique physiology and ideal riding position on a bike. From there, finding the perfect bike for each rider becomes a smooth process that yields highly accurate results.
