I was extremely surprised and disappointed by how unremarkable this restaurant turned out to be. The service was OK at first, but oblivious, and complacent. They didn't offer to exchange my dinner for something better or fixing it. We ended up sharing our companion's food. There was no way we were going to spend another dime here ever. The only way this place may have such a high review on this site now is if family is voting!

Classy & Friendly

We went there for a celebration meal, and everything was lovely. The decor was nice without being overbearing, which is kind of the theme that I found ran throughout the evening. It looked like a classy place where we could go when we were dressed up, but it had the definite personality of a long-run family restaurant. The servers were friendly and experienced - we were served by the whole "team" at various points, rather than just one server. Everyone who arrived after us seemed to be regulars, because the servers gave big "hellooo!"'s and hugs to nearly everyone who came in. (at least we hoped they were regulars, and not just that we smelled bad, and so got no hugs). The food was good - a couple tough mussels, but overall tender and in a delicious broth. Bruschetta was good - pretty standard. My pasta was huge, and delicious, and my boyfriend's steak, while it could have had a bit more flavour, was meltingly tender. I would definitely return to this restaurant. Try it out!

excellent restaurant!! Not only was the food superb - but the wait staff was extremely friendly and accomodating!! We have a small child - and they were wonderful with her!

Calamari was excellent. My husband enjoyed the salmon very much. Very large portions. Thank god we only ordered one salad, it was plenty for both of us. Overall enjoyable dining experience.
