G&V's Sushi

Horrible service, bad manners and starving for money. We were a group of 11 and the service was very slow. 30 min to get coke and had to ask 3 time. The waitress bring the can with a straw and no cup with ice... The manager and waitresses were hovering around and was starring and watching us eat. At the end the manager was so eager to charge for 6 left over sushi that were too spicy to eat she went even as far as opening napkins to see if we had wrapped any sushi. Horrible place, never again...

Les plats sont excellents, J'ai decouvert ce restaurant il y a plus d'un an et j'etais une tres grande fan. Par contre, depuis un certain temps, je trouve que le service est mediocre. On a l'impression que les employes sont forces de travailler et nous sourient tres rarement. Bien sure il y a certaines exceptions mais c'est decevant en general. Dommage car c'est un endroit qui a du potentiel.

I'll be honest we were pretty excited about a new local sushi place to go to instead of driving to Ottawa, but that excitement was short lived. The food was so so and the same goes for the service. After paying and leaving a generous tip, our blonde server with earring in her nose RAN to the cashier and loudly asked if we had paid, can you say insulting much? Is it because my spouse is brown? Like we would run out on a bill with 2 infants under our arms? Treated like riffraffs. Stick with Ottawa

We've been there ...

We've been there several times, not because is good, but because is the only one in this area, and every time we say is the last one, but this one is definitely the last one! We were. group of 4 adults, one child and two toddlers and we arrived at 12:15, it was 2:15pm and we still didn't have all what we ordered. TWO HOURS??!!! that's almost a bad joke; they brought dessert before the soup,and that's only one example of what happened. The service there is always awful, but today was just too much; we complained and the only thing the manager said was that wasn't her fault. Really? You're the manager and is not your fault? If you want a Japanese buffet, please don't go to Hokkaido sushi, just drive to Ottawa and you'll spend less time, eat better and even at a better price. P.S. There was only one person who was helpful and efficient there, a young blonde man wearing glasses; I feel sorry for him working in such a mediocre place, he is too good for that restaurany

Les salles de ba...

Les salles de bains étaient sales, l'aquarium en entrant était verte.... On nous a servis un sushis avec du saumon sur le dessus à la température de la pièce... Nous avons donc testé les autres plats que les sushis.. ERREUR... Sauté au légume, riz frit au poulet avec une sauce qui semblait avoir de l'âge Étrangement mon copain a été malade sur place et j'Ai eu des maux de ventre et des nausées le soir... PLUS JAMAIS . jamais JAMAIS
