Toronto’s first charcoal ice cream shop, iHalo Krunch has introduced us to one of the most unconventional ways to make ice cream. The black ice cream, which is coconut based, is mixed with other flavours for an Instagram-worthy soft serve cone.
Hollywood Cone opened its doors in the city earlier this year and Toronto can’t get enough of the outrageous ice cream concoctions! Hollywood Cone is known worldwide for its massive offerings like 18-inch sundaes and $77 milkshake.
Already one of the best food trucks in Toronto, Bar Ape has decided to open a brick and mortar shop! The famous gelato bars now have permanent digs in the St. Clair West neighbourhood. They also added soft serve to into the mix!
Brett’s Ice Cream has officially opened its doors and Toronto couldn’t be happier! The star of the show is the cake batter cones, a unique option on the ice cream scene here in Toronto. The flavours are always revolving at Brett’s, and that includes the aforementioned cones, which come in sprinkled birthday cake, red velvet and cinnamon brown sugar!
Yorkville has a new gelato shop! Simply named The Gelato Shop, the flavours are strictly Italian, and include amaretto, lemon, amarena cherry and stracciatella. They are open seven days a week and are an extension of Coco Espresso Bar.
