Many will pop into this laidback Fraser street café during the morning hours for a cup of coffee or a chickpea chorizo bowl at brunch, but it’s just as great for nighttime cocktails and beers. During their extended hours from Wednesday through Saturday you can try out one of their carefully-curated B.C. draughts up at the counter or at a communal table – where you can raise a glass with friends new and old.

The newest game in Fraserhood, Bells and Whistles, is already a vivacious drinking spot to grab a brew and catch big league ball on the big screen. Their 19 rotating taps showcase anything from local suds from Brassneck and Strange Fellows to hoppy highlights from around the world. If you need to work off that extra pint or heaping plate of fusion-style KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower), there’s a couple of mini basketball hoops at the back of the room.

From the oak-top bar and wood panel walls to the summertime deck, there’s an undeniably cozy, cabin-like feel to The Eastwood. The comfort continues with food menu options like beer-battered fish tacos and chili cheese fries. The Eastwood is an option any day, but come by on Mondays to get a buck off your drink.
