The Baja fish tacos can also be made gluten-free, by substituting corn wraps or lettuce wraps for the regular flour shells. Craft Beer Market also offers a gluten-free version of their popular flatbreads, including Tuscan veggie, gaucho chicken and prosciutto arugula.

This laid-back pub has a separate gluten-free menu to make ordering easier. Almost all of their sandwiches and burgers can be made gluten-free, with some slight adjustments. The applewood salmon club, in particular, is delicious, with salmon, avocado, peppered bacon, lettuce, tomato and red pepper aioli. Under appetizers, the Long Beach fish tacos can be made gluten-free (with romaine boats instead of wraps), and so can the wings, nachos, short ribs, sweet potato fries and hummus (with fresh veggies instead of naan bread). Most of the salads are also gluten-free, including the delectable Thai chicken salad.

The Next Act Pub & Grill

8
8224 104 St NW, Edmonton AB T6E 4E6

There may not be a ton of options for celiacs here, but the Next Act Pub deserves a mention simply because they offer poutine with gluten-free gravy (they also have a vegan option). Poutine is a tricky item for gluten-free eaters, because gravy is usually thickened with flour. But, Next Act manages to top their homecut fries and fresh cheese curds with a gluten-free version that is yummy, ensuring no celiac has to go without comfort food ever again.

The Pint

9
100-10125 109 St NW, Edmonton AB T5J 3P1

Their somewhat chaotic menu makes things a little easier by letting diners know how to make some of their items gluten-free. For example, their list of 40 flavours of wings denotes which sauces are gluten-free – seven pepper, sweet chili, red hot, extra hot, honey mustard, maple, salt and pepper, garlic, and parmesan and herb all qualify. Their tacos can be made with corn tortillas, while the Asian lettuce wraps are A-OK, as long as you order them with sweet chili sauce. You can even get a gluten-free bun for your burger, for an extra $2.
