My first time going to Sushi Legend on Ravel Road and to be honest with you, I am very very happy. This place is new so everything is sparkling. The design of the restaurant is so modern and classic, I fell in love instantly. The all you can eat lunch is $12.95 and considering all of the different choices they have, it is soo soo soo worth it. The place is big and comfy and can accommodate a lot of people. The servers are all fluent in English, very friendly and serve you very quickly. My lunch bento box which was $8.50 came in 5 minutes. I was impressed. While Zen is our favourite Japanese Restaurant, my boyfriend and I have enjoyed dining here for their enoki maki (thin slices of beef wrapped around enoki-Japanese mushrooms). Their nigiri and sashimi while delicious is not a priority for us to order as they serve very thin small pieces for the price you pay. We have also had their sukiyaki (we cook ourselves on the table) and it is large enough for 3 people, although much more expensive ($60 for 2 people which includes rice and raw egg for dipping) than other restaurants where we have enjoyed the same. The sukiyaki comes traditionally (as they served), with slices of thin sukiyaki beef, tofu, Chinese cabbage, green onion, oyster mushrooms, shitake mushrooms and regular mushrooms, transparent thin noodles and onion. My husband recommended this place so we decided to have brunch and try their Japanese breakfast (omurice). It's an omelette filled with fried rice and chicken Breast and a side of coleslaw; so delicious and filling. price is roughly $9-10. We also tried their polar beer (icing foam on top). The squid plate was very tasty. Our server was very friendly and gave us helpful tips. I def recommend this spot! Lire plus
